I would give 0 stars for service and atmosphere if that was possible. The staff are extremely rude and unfriendly and don’t even get me started on the guy behind the bar who I think may be the manager (god knows how he got that position). This is the second time I have visited and HE has been just as rude and unprofessional both times. Also one of the girls that served us needs lessons in how to smile and be friendly, maybe a telephone based job would be best for you. Certainly will not be coming again. Food was nice but the all the above ruined the experience.

The food is very good the service is very good , beer and drinks are standard pub prices. Not particularly busy at time of visit so can only review as seen .Will visit again for sure.

Xmas dinner was disappointing. I had Garlic & Chilli Prawns, over cooked, just taste garlic, then I had the Braised Beef, dry over cooked and full om bones. Based on that I would not be rushing back.

Went for an Xmas dinner, mine was Garlic Chilli Prawns and Braised Beef. The Chilli Prawns were over cooked, and zero Chilli. The Beef was bones hardly any meat and dry.
Based on that would not rush back anytime soon.

We love it here. Visit quite regularly. Service and staff are brilliant. Had the Christmas 3 course menu today. Didn’t think it was as good as last year. Had the mushroom starter which was very tasty but too minimal.Roast Turkey main was somewhat lacking. Roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding to crispy. No pigs in blankets. No Christmas crackers which other tables had, although we should have said something but didn’t. The cheesecake dessert was yummy. This is constructive criticism. It won’t deter us from visiting again.

Thoroughly enjoyable afternoon with family and a friend. Excellent choice of food, extremely good value and beautiful well cooked food. Three empty plates returned to the kitchen!! 😋 Second visit in as many months and both times we've been really pleased with everything. Thank you team Horse Shoe 👍🏻

First time at The Horseshoe Inn and we really enjoyed the food, table service and the venue as a whole. We went as a group and we were definitely taken care of. All dishes looked well presented and nicely cooked. Would definitely go again. Thanks for your hospitality 👌

We recently visited the area for a short break. The horseshoe was our ' local' and we were really pleased it was.
Our first visit was just for drinks, the beer garden was fab with a play area that kept the kids entertained.
We returned on another evening for a meal. We were really impressed. We originally thought it would be cheap and cheerful standard pub food. However, what we got was fab. All the food was made to a high standard, really tasty homemade food.

I venture to The Horseshoe Inn frequently as work & family life permit. The service is 1st class, the beverages both alcoholic & of barista quality are served with dedication & quality.
I have dined frequently & never been disappointed with any meal presented to me as the venue prides itself on its service & standards.

Paid a first visit for lunch yesterday and made most welcome. Two of the party are vegan and found a few main course options plus we were told some of the vegetarian meals could be adapted to vegan. The aubergine dish was selected. One sweet (cheesecake) was vegan. The quality of all was good.
